Effective from May 1, the declaration to CIQ (China Inspection and Quarantine) is required for all of the following items imported via Shenzhen airport by CIQ. The shipments will only be returned if it cannot pass the declaration, no other options will be allowed by Shenzhen CIQ, including abandoning shipment. Please refer to the Shenzhen CIQ website (Chinese version available only) for details of the process and documentation required for declaration to CIQ. The details are as follows:

•Animal and Plant Products
•Batteries
•Special Products (Microorganisms, human tissues, biological products, blood and blood products)
In order to avoid clearance delays, please inform your shippers of the above as soon as possible and request them to prepare the additional documentation required.
